4.1) The Western Cape's pass rate is 35.13% while applicants in Gauteng have been the most successful with a pass rate of 46.58%. The poorest pass rate is in the Free State which is 31.23%

4.2) The Spokesperson for Traffic Services in the province, Searl Johannes, said poor training and lack of preparation were the main reasons for the low pass rate in the province.

4.3) Johannes said applicant were often in the driver's seat of their test vehicle for the first time when doing the test.

4.4) The test has ridged guidelines against which the applicants is assessed. These guidelines are provided by the national department of transport and are applicable nationally.

4.5) Quite a number of people have the attitude that driving is simple and as soon as they have mastered the principle of clutch control they believe they will pass the test, which is far from the truth.

Too pass any test, you must prepare well. The learners license and K53 driving license test are no exception. This is why it is important to prepare properly, using the best teaching materials available.

5.1) Can we assist our new learner driver's with information that could help them in preparing for this test? "YES"!! Our classroom is an interactive electronic publication of the South African K53 Drivers education material, featuring 3D simulations, as well as all learner driver contents which our new learner driver's and students will need to pass their South African learner's and/or driver's license test first time.
